River Town of the Year Award

Nominate your community as Iowa River Town of the Year.  Iowa Rivers Revival is committed to the safety and quality of Iowa’s rivers and streams and strives to be a leader in river conservation and preservation practices and ethics.  IRR will recognize and showcase one Iowa river community as a leader and river steward with the River Town of the Year Award at the IRR Annual Conference Banquet each year.

Iowa River Town of the Year applicants must demonstrate community commitment and involvement in protecting and maintaining river quality and promoting the river as an asset to your town.  This Award is an opportunity to celebrate the many vibrant river communities across Iowa that are reclaiming riverfronts as anchors for economic development, recreation, and ecological practices.

Award recipeints will also be provided an opportunity to be selected as hosts for future conference locations.
