Featured Presenation: Troubled Waters -
“Troubled Waters” calls attention to our attitudes and treatment of rivers, both good and bad. It highlights Iowans who share their personal relationships with their local river and explores the treatment that rivers have received by humans. The film serves to launch dialogue about the issues that affect our waters and asks the viewer to appreciate rivers, to acknowledge their importance and their power.
Banquet and Auction: Our annual banquet features our River Town of the Year Award where we recognize an Iowa river community for exemplary river stewardship, followed by our “lively” live auction FUNdraiser – proceeds will directly benefit IRR’s River Rascals and Master River Stewards program and increase and strengthen outreach and advocacy efforts.
Sunday, May 2
Cedar Valley Trail Tour - by boat, bike or foot (history of the Chain of Lakes; lunch included).
