Ok, settle in- here’s what’s going on in the river world.
The Iowa Legislative Session has about a month left. Next Friday is the second funnel deadline and a lot of budget drafts came out this week INCLUDING the House Infrastructure with a $500,000 line item for low-head dam mitigation and water trails.
We need YOU to let your legislators know how important this funding is to projects in communities across the state. Flood mitigation and community revitalization is often a direct result of these projects with an outstanding return on investment.
